Well, after 11 years driving the same ole Dodge Caravan… replacing the transmission… TWICE… and putting about 200,000 miles on it… the thing has finally gotten to the point where some silly “O2 Sensor” is causing it to not pass inspection, and it’s going to cost more to get it fixed than the van is worth at this point…. so… out with the old, and in with the not-quite-so-old.
Specifically, this new (to me) blue 2002 Mercury Sable.

Kelley Blue Book lists it at $6,300, while I got it for $5,800 (TTL)… Not a spectacular deal, but little hassle, and that’s what I like.
I’ll have more pics posted in the next couple days as I have time. Seems to drive/handle well, and I plan on getting to Brad (my guy at the Shell Station tomorrow to have him look it over - got the extra day in the contract, of course).
Yep. It’s not the BEST solution in the world, but it’s quick, easy, online, and free!
I found this cool business card maker at DeGraeve.com doing a quick Google search. It will let you plug in the URL of a graphic, and then punch in a few lines of text, allowing you to adjust the font type, style and size. There are only a few selection choices, but for something you’re going to run off your own printer and to get a rough draft, I think it’s just about perfect.

Thanks Steve !
Actually I’m creating THIS blog on 2007-03-19….
So, why the WAY-BACK date for this entry? — Well, I have a few other blogs scattered around the net. One of which is called My Little Experiments and started on this date.
Here is the first post:

Blog Purpose
This new blog of mine is intended as a place to write about all the crazy little experiments I try over time.
I’ll add more detail to THIS post soon, but right now I’m eager to get started posting about my latest experiment with Polyphasic Sleep ! =)
